Vancouver is a Gem.
Vancouver is also one of the most ethnically and linguistically DIVERSE cities in Canada with 52 percent of the population speaking a first language other than English.
Vancouver is a coastal, seaport city on the mainland of British Columbia. Located on the western half of the Burrard Peninsula, Vancouver is bounded to the north by English Bay and the Burrard Inlet and to the south by the Fraser River.
Vancouver has one of the largest urban parks in North America,
Stanley Park. The
North Shore Mountains dominate the cityscape, and on a clear day, scenic vistas include the snow-capped volcano
Mount Baker in the state of Washington to the southeast, Vancouver Island across the Strait of Georgia to the west and southwest, and
Bowen Island to the northwest.
This beautiful city is also one of the warmest cities in Canada.
All and all Vancouver is a gem located between a beautiful ocean and lush mountains!
